The quilting process has
been a journey!

Along the way, we’ve been guided by the love of textiles and how they are used in different environments. We incorporate culture, color and spirituality into our designs.

Over the years, wonderful relationships have developed from travel experiences with family, friends and colleagues.

Our design elements include the shared moments, the stories, and the eye-catching combinations of color, texture and features. Check out what we’re doing with our quilts, throws, pillow cases, pillows, bags and accessories!

Finally, we thank our mentors: Gladys Hayes, JoAnne Cramatie (54-40 African American Quilters Guild of Virginia, Est. March 3, 1993); Trish Acreman, Patricia Roebuck, Karen F., Beverly Walling-Wood, Jan C, and Mimi S (Golden Needles Quilt Guild – Montgomery County, TX); and Thomazine PA. Without your loving guidance, patience, and constructive feedback, we would not have had the courage to do this!

Inspired by Friendships; International travel; Spirituality; Music; Food, Reading & Other Artists!

From time-to-time, we may feature tools, techniques, or products we believe you may like. We will post a disclaimer if we receive any compensation from this; however, we mostly just like to “shout out” the things and people we like.

Pillows are a favorite! We’ll be updating the site to include photos of our interior decorating with all kinds of pillows (small, square, rectangular, boxed, leather, suede….) Be patient with us!

Our Materials

Our quilts vary in weight, material and design, but are predominantly 100% cotton. We also use linen and bamboo – sometimes the design and personality call for it! If we do utilize material other than cotton, we call that out.

Our designs are functional art. Use them as such!
